Who we are
TryKAI is a KSJ AI service owned and operated by KSJ Growth. KSJ Growth is the controller of personal information collected through this website.
For privacy questions or data-rights requests, email denny@trykai.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect the name, business name, email address and message you provide. When you use the live KAI demonstration, the questions you enter and a limited amount of the preceding chat are processed to generate KAI's reply. Our hosting service may also record limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, request time and pages requested in routine security logs.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics collects information about visits and useful actions, including pages viewed, consultation links used, WhatsApp contact-button clicks, KAI questions sent and replies received, form starts, successful enquiry submissions, referral source, campaign parameters and general device or browser information. WhatsApp message content or phone numbers, KAI question and reply text, consultation-form field values and email addresses are not sent to Google Analytics by our event tracking.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in the enquiry form.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry details to respond, understand what support you are considering, arrange a consultation and take steps you request before entering into a contract. Live demonstration messages are used to produce KAI's responses, maintain a short conversation and prevent misuse. We use limited technical information to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website. If you accept analytics, we use the resulting aggregate reports to understand how people find and use TryKAI and which routes help them take the next step.
Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and keeping the website secure, and your consent for Google Analytics.
Who receives your information
Information may be processed by KSJ Growth and trusted providers that support our website, hosting, email or professional administration. IONOS hosts this website and its enquiry route. OpenAI processes live demonstration messages on our behalf to generate KAI's replies. If you accept analytics, Google processes analytics information for the separate TryKAI Google Analytics property. If you deliberately open WhatsApp, WhatsApp and Meta process the technical information needed to open their service and anything you then choose to send under their own terms and privacy information. We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How long we keep it
Enquiry information is normally retained for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for an active customer relationship, accounting, dispute resolution or another legal obligation. The TryKAI website does not save live demonstration transcripts in WordPress, and API requests are configured not to create stored response objects. Recent conversation text remains in the visitor's browser for the current demonstration and is protected with a server-generated integrity signature; the signature is not a stored transcript. Session and connection rate-limit counters are retained for approximately one hour, while a sitewide daily usage counter may remain for up to two days. Privacy-safe daily counts for API attempts, successful replies, failures, quality-guard fallbacks and rate-limited activity are kept for up to 14 days; rate-limited activity is recorded only up to a fixed daily cap. These counts contain no messages, answers, IP addresses, session identifiers or personal details. OpenAI may retain limited service data under its applicable API data controls. Routine server logs are retained according to the hosting provider's operational and security schedule.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Contact us first at denny@trykai.co.uk. You can also visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Live KAI demonstration, analytics and cookies
The live KAI demonstration uses a temporary browser-session identifier and server-side rate limits to maintain the demonstration and reduce misuse. Please do not enter passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive personal information into the assistant.
The WhatsApp contact button opens the external WhatsApp service with a draft message identifying TryKAI. Visiting TryKAI does not contact WhatsApp, and opening the button does not send the draft automatically: you decide whether to edit or send it in WhatsApp. If analytics is accepted, we record only that the floating WhatsApp button was selected, not the draft, your WhatsApp message or the destination number.
Google Analytics is optional and stays off until you select “Accept analytics”. If accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, typically for up to two years, to distinguish visits and produce usage reports. Browser settings or later choices may shorten that period.
You can reject analytics when first asked or change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button. Rejecting analytics does not stop the consultation form or live KAI demonstration from working. We keep advertising storage, advertising user data, personalised advertising and Google signals disabled, and we do not link sessions across the separate TryKAI and KSJ Growth Analytics properties.
